Gumi City, Practice Eco-Friendly Driving and Get Up to 100,000 Won Back
Recruitment of Participants for the Automobile Carbon Neutral Point System
From the 20th to March 3rd, First-Come, First-Served for 600 Vehicles Over 2 Weeks
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Gumi City (Mayor Kim Jang-ho) is recruiting 600 vehicles on a first-come, first-served basis to participate in the Automobile Carbon Neutrality Point System, which provides incentives based on the reduction in driving distance from February 20 to March 3.
The Automobile Carbon Neutrality Point System compares the average daily driving distance from the initial vehicle registration to before joining with the average daily driving distance during the participation period, and provides incentives based on the reduction performance.
Eligible participants are non-commercial passenger cars and vans with 12 seats or fewer; commercial vehicles and eco-friendly vehicles (electric, hydrogen, hybrid) are excluded. Only one vehicle per owner can participate.
Those wishing to participate must sign up on the Automobile Carbon Neutrality Point System website and submit supporting documents (photos of the vehicle dashboard and license plate) via the URL sent by text message. Participants will receive incentives ranging from 20,000 KRW to a maximum of 100,000 KRW in December, depending on their driving distance reduction performance.
