The Born Korea Launches ‘Baek Sausage’ Featuring Baek Jong-won's Special Recipe
The Born Korea announced on the 16th that it has newly launched the stew-dedicated frank sausage ‘Baek Sausage,’ reflecting CEO Baek Jong-won's special recipe.
Baek Sausage is a product completed after about two years of long research and development to achieve the optimal taste and texture that go well with stews. It was specially planned to promote the consumption of less-preferred parts of pork, and a major feature is that it uses only 100% domestically produced pork.
As it is released specifically for stews, it boasts a good compatibility with stew dishes such as Budae-jjigae. In particular, it has the advantage of increasing usability when cooked together with the previously released Baek Ham, and compared to regular sausages, it is seasoned strongly to enhance the umami of the broth when used in stew dishes.
It is a frozen product in the form of frank sausages, making it easy to store and use due to its long shelf life, and it is manufactured in a HACCP-certified factory, so it can be enjoyed safely regardless of generation. It will first be introduced on The Born Market (online), and plans to expand sales channels depending on consumer response.
