'Golf World Woo Young-woo' Lee Seung-min "Competing in Thailand Regular Tour"
Invitation Players Appear at the Singha Isan Open Opening on the 23rd
‘Golf World’s Woo Young-woo’ Lee Seung-min will participate in the Thailand regular tour.
Lee Seung-min’s management company, Ball Media, announced on the 15th, "Lee Seung-min will compete in the Singha Isan Open of the Thailand Professional Golf Tour, held for four days from the 23rd at Singha Park Khon Kaen Country Club in Khon Kaen, Thailand," adding, "He received an invitation from the Singha Group."
The tournament has a total prize money of 3 million baht (approximately 110 million KRW), with the winner’s prize being 450,000 baht (approximately 17 million KRW). Lee Seung-min, who became the inaugural champion of the Disabled US Open Golf last year, was invited by the Singha Group through arrangements made by the Royal Thai Embassy in Korea and the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Thai Singha Group explained the reason for the invitation, saying, "We were deeply impressed by Lee Seung-min’s victory at the Disabled US Open and believe he can be a great source of dreams and hope for people with disabilities in Thailand."
Lee Seung-min, who serves as the ambassador for the Korea Autism Love Association, expressed his determination, saying, "I am grateful to the Singha Group for inviting me to the tournament and to the Thai government for their support. I will do my best to meet expectations with a good performance."

Lee Seung-min is a human triumph who is active as a professional golfer despite having autism spectrum disorder. He was diagnosed with congenital autism spectrum disorder around the age of two. In 2014, when he was a second-year student at Sinseong High School, he earned the semi-pro qualification from the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA), and in 2017, he became a full member of the Korean Tour. He has also demonstrated his skills by participating as an invited player in domestic professional tournaments.
