Cultural Heritage Administration Specialized Care Training Until November
The Cultural Heritage Administration, together with the Central Cultural Heritage Care Center and the Korea Cultural Heritage Care Association, will conduct specialized care training until November. This is a mandatory education program for cultural heritage care workers. Since 2017, it has been operated with lottery funds to produce skilled professionals such as cultural heritage repair technicians. Cultural heritage care is a preservation management project that manages and repairs cultural properties through regular monitoring.

This year's training program focuses on administration, accounting, cultural heritage monitoring, and cultural heritage management and repair. The Central Cultural Heritage Care Center provides practical training in administrative fields, while the Korea Cultural Heritage Care Association teaches inspection and repair methods by cultural heritage type and material (such as Hansik woodworking, Hansik plastering, and Beonwawa craft). A Cultural Heritage Administration official stated, "Reflecting on last year's trainee satisfaction and feedback, we have strengthened practical training to enhance expertise," adding, "By securing expertise, we aim to raise the level of continuous preventive management of cultural heritage."
