Statistics Korea Conducts 2023 National Business Survey
[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Song Seungseop] The Statistics Korea will conduct the "2023 National Business Survey" from the 9th of this month to the 6th of next month to understand the structure of domestic businesses.
The survey targets approximately 6.73 million businesses engaged in industrial activities within Korea. It includes household industrial activities such as one-person YouTubers and freelancers, as well as unmanned businesses like self-service laundromats and claw machine arcades. The survey items consist of a total of 10 categories, including business owner, establishment date, organizational form, type of business, number of employees, and sales revenue. The survey results will be provisionally announced in September and finalized in December of the same year.
Han Hoon, Commissioner of Statistics Korea, stated, "The National Business Survey serves as important basic data used for policies supporting small business owners and SMEs. Accurate statistics begin with sincere responses from survey targets, so we ask for active participation and responses from businesses."
