Pukyong National University Hosts Forum to Share and Promote Entrepreneurial and Startup Spirit
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 7th, Pukyong National University held a 'Shared Forum for the Expansion of Entrepreneurial and Startup Spirit' at the Westin Chosun Hotel Busan's medium banquet hall.
The forum was organized as a platform for discussing entrepreneurial spirit and startup expansion in Busan, a startup city, jointly hosted by Pukyong National University's LINC 3.0 Project Group, the Entrepreneurial and Startup Spirit Education Center, and the Graduate School of Technology Management.

View original imageAt the forum, key figures from Busan's government, industry, and academia, as well as domestic startup ecosystem experts, attended. Ryu Ji-yeol, head of the project group, gave the opening remarks, and Sung Hee-yeop, CEO of Busan Union Technology Holdings, delivered the congratulatory address.
The keynote presentations included Center Director Cheon Dong-pil's "Achievements and Future Plans of Entrepreneurial Spirit Education," Professor Woo Cheong-won of Gyeongnam National University's "Cases of Domestic and International Entrepreneurial Spirit Centers," and CEO Park Ki-woong of Santa's "Operation and Achievements of Busan Startup Shared University."
Following this, Song Young-hwa, president of the Korea Entrepreneurship Society, chaired a panel discussion on expanding the base of entrepreneurial spirit and linking startups in Busan, with participants including Center Director Cheon Dong-pil, CEO Park Ki-woong, Startup Alliance Director Park Jung-eun, Seo Jeong-mo, head of Busan City's government-industry-academia cooperation and industry-academia cooperation team, and Lee Jung-woo, director of the R&D Innovation Research Group at the Science and Technology Policy Institute.
