Nexon Expands 'KartRider: Drift' to Consoles on March 9
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Nexon announced on the 1st that the global regular season of 'KartRider: Drift' will open on March 9. Along with this, the service will also start on consoles, creating Nexon's first 'full cross-play' environment across mobile, PC, and console platforms.
To coincide with the regular season opening, various in-game contents will be newly introduced. The Grand Prix mode, a competitive content to test racing skills, will be offered in Speed and Item battles. A kart body upgrade system will also be added, allowing players to enhance detailed performance aspects such as acceleration and booster duration of their kart bodies. New contents will be updated, including eight tracks featuring popular themes loved in the original game like World and Factory, as well as a new season racing pass.
