[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting applicants for this year's wild animal damage prevention facility installation support project until February 15.
The wild animal damage prevention facility installation support project is a program that provides financial support for the installation costs of necessary facilities such as electric and wire fences to prevent damage to agriculture and forestry caused by wild animals.
Eligible applicants are farmers and foresters who own or lease land in the county and engage in agriculture or forestry. The project supports up to 60% of the installation cost per farm (maximum 5 million KRW). Applications can be submitted at the town or township office where the installation site is located. Those who have already received support for damage prevention facilities from the Ministry of Agriculture's FTA fund or other sources, or who have received support for installation costs within the past five years, are excluded from eligibility.
