SPC Samlip Bieuneat Home Launches Two Types of 'Sultteok' Using Fresh Makgeolli
SPC Samlip's retail rice cake brand Bizeun@Home announced on the 30th that it will launch two new products called ‘Sultteok’.
Sultteok consists of two types: ‘Corn Sultteok,’ made with domestically produced corn flour for a sweet and mild taste, and ‘Woori Ssuk Sultteok,’ made with domestically produced mugwort for a fragrant flavor.
During the fermentation process, fresh rice makgeolli is maintained at 38 degrees Celsius, creating air holes on the surface of the product, resulting in a soft and chewy texture. When heated in a microwave for 50 seconds, it offers a soft taste as if freshly steamed in a steamer.
