According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 30th, the positivity rate among short-term foreign visitors arriving from China at Incheon International Airport the previous day was 1.5% (2 positive cases out of 135). The day before, 1 out of 242 people tested positive, resulting in a positivity rate of 0.4%.
The positivity rate among short-term foreign visitors from China has remained in the single digits since the 14th, but this is the first time in two consecutive days that 1 to 2 confirmed cases have been reported. The health authorities stated that fluctuations in the positivity rate among short-term foreign visitors from China may vary daily, so trends are evaluated through weekly analysis.
Since the 2nd, a total of 40,114 people have entered through airports from China. The cumulative positivity rate for airport tests among short-term visitors is 9.9% (747 positive cases out of 7,559), dropping below 10% for the first time on this day.
