20s Male Suspected of Drug Use at Home... Caught Following Father's Report
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] A man in his 20s suspected of using drugs and wielding a weapon at his home was arrested by the police.
On the 30th, the Nowon Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested Mr. A (27) the previous day on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of using drugs at his home located in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, the previous day. At 8:11 p.m. the previous day, police who responded to a report from his father urgently arrested him. Before the arrest, Mr. A was reportedly rambling and wielding a weapon.
Five syringes presumed to have been used for drug injection were found at Mr. A's home. However, Mr. A denies using drugs and reportedly refused a simple drug test.
