Singer Sam Kim's Father Dies in US Robbery Shooting... "Deepest Condolences"
Funeral Service Held on the 24th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyun-joo] Singer Sam Kim (24) was recently revealed to have lost his father in a shooting incident that occurred in the United States.
According to local Korean media such as Seattle Korean News Net on the 26th, an armed robbery shooting incident took place at around 8:30 PM on the 13th (local time) at a restaurant in Seattle, USA.
Kim Han-su (58), Sam Kim's father who operated the restaurant, was shot in the chest by armed robbers who broke into the store and died. Local police are investigating the case as a robbery targeting valuables and are pursuing three suspects who fled the scene.
The funeral was held on the 24th. It is known that Sam Kim sang the song "Don’t Worry," which he originally composed for his mother, changed to honor his deceased father during the funeral service. About 200 people, including the Seattle Consul General, attended the ceremony.
Sam Kim's agency, Antenna, expressed their deepest condolences on the passing of Sam Kim's father and respectfully wished for the deceased's peaceful rest.
