Uiryeong-gun Opens Applications for 197 Agricultural, Forestry, Livestock, and Food Projects Next Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam, is accepting applications for national treasury subsidy projects in the agriculture, forestry, livestock, and food sectors from farmers and producer organizations at the Agricultural Technology Center and eup/myeon offices until February 9, 2024, for the 2024 agriculture, forestry, livestock, and food business budget.
The agriculture, forestry, livestock, and food business refers to major support projects under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Forest Service (including loan projects). The target projects cover 197 projects in nine fields: production base, rural/community, food, horticultural crops/distribution, livestock, food, agricultural life industry, carbon neutrality/climate change, and forestry. New projects not included in the main projects can also be applied for.
Farmers, foresters, producer organizations, and individuals or corporations wishing to apply for projects can refer to the announcement posted on the Agricultural Business Information System or the Uiryeong-gun website and submit their applications to the Agricultural Technology Center or each eup/myeon office.
A county official said, “Uiryeong-gun aims to expand projects in the agriculture, forestry, livestock, and food sectors and secure as much national and provincial funding as possible to boost the farming motivation of households facing difficulties.”
