SPC Paris Baguette Supports Nonsan Strawberry Farms for 3 Consecutive Years... Continuing Win-Win Efforts
SPC Group's Paris Baguette has been purchasing Nonsan strawberries annually and turning them into products as part of the Happiness Win-Win Agreement signed with Nonsan City in February 2021.
Since last year, they have added more meaning to this win-win effort by using strawberries cultivated mainly by young farmers, who are the future key workforce leading the farms.
With the continuous decline of the domestic agricultural population and the aging of farmers causing growing concerns, fostering young farmers is emerging as an important solution for revitalizing rural areas.
The newly introduced cakes include two types: the “Fresh Strawberry Fraisier,” a fraisier cake made by layering Nonsan strawberries and sweet custard cheese cream between soft sponge cake and topped generously with fresh Nonsan strawberries; and the “Fresh Strawberry Choco Fraisier,” a soft chocolate ganache cream cake with tangy raspberry compote and topped with plenty of fresh Nonsan strawberries.
Paris Baguette has also appointed young farmers from Nonsan as promotional models for the new products this year.
