Samsung Offers Up to 900,000 KRW Discount on Groceries Over 3 Years When Purchasing 'Pet Appliances'
Collaboration with Woori Card... 49 Models Including Washing Machines and Vacuum Cleaners
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Samsung Electronics announced on the 19th that it will launch the 'My Pet Plan' service for pet families (Petfam). The plan offers up to 900,000 KRW in food expenses support over three years when purchasing Samsung home appliances equipped with pet management functions.
Customers can join the plan by purchasing pet-specialized appliances worth over 1.2 million KRW using Woori Card and then subscribing through Samsung.com’s e-Food Market. If they buy food worth more than 65,000 KRW monthly with the affiliated card at the e-Food Market, they will receive up to 900,000 KRW (25,000 KRW per month) in discounts over three years. The e-Food Market sells pet food from major domestic food companies, as well as ready meals (HMR), meal kits, kimchi, and fresh meat.
The eligible products for plan subscription include 49 items such as Bespoke Jet and Jet Bot AI (with pet-specific brushes), Bespoke Cube Air™ (with pet-specific filters), and Bespoke Grande AI washing machines and dryers (with specialized courses for pet stains and hair removal).

Samsung Electronics plans to offer additional discounts on pet wearable devices to subscribing customers. It also aims to provide extra discounts on hospital, education, and funeral services specialized for the pet life cycle.
Kim Hyunjung, General Manager of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, "The plan will provide a convenient and smart experience to 15 million Petfam members. We will continue to lead customer experience innovation by closely collaborating with other industries in devices, services, and content."
