[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] Former Ssangbangwool Group Chairman Kim Seong-tae, who was captured in Thailand while on the run, arrived at Incheon Airport at around 8:20 a.m. on the 17th.
The Asiana Airlines flight OZ742 from Bangkok, Thailand, on which Kim boarded, landed at the airport.
Kim is the actual owner of Ssangbangwool Group, which is involved in various allegations including the Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung's 'lawyer fee payment' and 'remittance to North Korea.'

The Criminal Division 6 of Suwon District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Young-nam) plans to escort the two individuals to the prosecution building upon arrival at the airport. They are expected to be investigated immediately upon arrival at the prosecution office and a detention warrant will likely be requested on the morning of the 18th. Prosecutors sent investigators to Thailand and executed the arrest warrant about an hour after Kim and others boarded the flight to Korea. The decision to request a detention warrant must be made within 48 hours after executing the arrest warrant. Previously, the two were arrested on the 10th at a golf course in Pathum Thani, Thailand.
