Gurumi, President Yoon Joins UAE Economic Delegation... "Bridgehead for Middle East Expansion"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The video communication platform 'Gooroomi' will join the economic delegation visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with President Yoon Suk-yeol.
President Yoon will make a state visit to the UAE from the 14th to the 17th, accompanied by an economic delegation consisting of 24 major domestic conglomerates and 69 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies. Gooroomi was selected as a promising SME representing cloud services in the ICT sector and will participate in the delegation.
During the visit, Gooroomi plans to engage in various programs to promote exchanges between the two countries. These include attending the Korea-UAE Business Forum, signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on economic cooperation, activities to attract investment, and building networks with local UAE companies to establish a foothold for entering the Middle Eastern market.
Ranghyuk Lee, CEO of Gooroomi, stated, "Accompanying the UAE economic delegation will enhance trust in Gooroomi, enabling us to build broad cooperative relationships with local telecommunications companies and IT and education-related firms, serving as a catalyst for significant achievements in investment and business contracts."

Gooroomi is a startup providing a video platform and offers cloud-based interactive education services called 'Gyosil On Dot,' used by middle and high school students in 17 domestic city and provincial education offices. It also provides cloud-based video technology to SK Group's education platform and Hyundai Motor Company.
