[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Daewon Pharmaceutical announced on the 11th that its Hyangnam and Jincheon plants have received international standard certifications for the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001).
At the certificate presentation ceremony held at the auditorium of Daewon Pharmaceutical's Hyangnam plant on the same day, Baek Inhwan, President of Daewon Pharmaceutical, and Son Seil, Executive Director of the Production Division, attended, and Lee Seungchan, CEO of the certification body Kiwakorea, personally visited to deliver the certificates.
ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are international standard certifications for environmental and occupational health and safety management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). They are comprehensively awarded after evaluating whether a company has established environmental and occupational health and safety management policies and objectives and has an organized management system to achieve them.
With this certification, Daewon Pharmaceutical has been recognized for complying with laws, international standards, and internal policies related to environment and occupational health and safety throughout its management. Taking this opportunity, the company plans to further systematize and operate its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, which it has been continuously promoting.
