Gwangju University, Gwangju Women's University, and Honam University Discuss Inter-University Development Plans
Holding a Liberal Arts Education Round Table Forum
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University, Gwangju Women's University, and Honam University held a meeting to discuss the achievements and development plans of liberal arts curriculum exchange and cooperation among universities.
According to Gwangju University on the 9th, the three universities held the 'Regional University Alliance Liberal Arts Education Round Table Forum' in the second half of 2022.
This forum was organized to share the operational achievements of liberal arts curriculum exchange and cooperation conducted by the three universities last year and to discuss development plans.
The forum was jointly hosted by Gwangju University University Innovation Support Group (Director Park Kyungjong), the Liberal Arts Education Center (Director Kim Jeonga), Gwangju Women's University Basic Liberal Arts Education Center (Director Kang Hyejin), and Honam University AI Liberal Arts College (Dean Song Changsu), with about 50 faculty and staff from each university participating.
The forum began with a keynote lecture by Professor Park Jungha of Sungkyunkwan University titled "Suggestions for Strengthening Cooperation in Liberal Arts Education," followed by presentations on ▲ Gwangju Women's University Mind Healing Joint Curriculum Operation Results ▲ Gwangju University European Music Travel Joint Curriculum Operation Results ▲ Honam University Debate Battle Extracurricular Program Operation Results ▲ Gwangju Women's University Liberal Arts Curriculum Exchange and Cooperation Development Plans Discussion ▲ Honam University Role of Unification Education Discussion.
There was also a session for free discussion to discuss development plans for revitalizing liberal arts education exchange and cooperation in 2023.
Park Kyungjong, Director of the University Innovation Support Group at Gwangju University, said, "We will actively support and unite for sustainable exchange, cooperation, and mutual development among regional universities."
