[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, visited the construction site of the ‘Metaverse Video & Electronic Library,’ a study cafe-type learning space located on the 1st floor at 8 Mapodaero, Dohwa-dong, Mapo-gu, at 2 PM on the 6th to check the progress and conduct an on-site inspection.
Scheduled to open in March, the ‘Mapo-gu Metaverse Video & Electronic Library’ will provide services such as electronic book browsing using the metaverse. Designed as a study cafe-type learning space in the form of a book cafe, it will be created as a comfortable learning environment where not only reading but also studying is possible.

Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo-gu stated, “I hope that through the electronic library services utilizing the metaverse, the reading and learning needs of local residents will be fulfilled, and especially that it will be efficiently operated as a study space for youth,” urging the officials to do their best.
