No Visit Needed! ... Gimhae-si Delivers Disability Welfare Cards to Your Doorstep
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, will deliver disability welfare cards to each household starting this year.
The city announced on the 2nd that it will implement a one-stop delivery service for welfare cards to enhance convenience for people with disabilities.
Recipients will receive welfare cards by registered mail without visiting the administrative welfare center, and the production process and issuance period will be shortened by 7 days.
According to the city, applicants for disability welfare card issuance can use this service without any additional cost.
The city will also cover the 4,000 KRW personal fee previously charged for Type A integrated disability welfare cards, which include highway toll discount functions.

We will actively strive to provide customized services that allow welfare card issuance with a single visit, minimize face-to-face interactions in the With-Corona era, and improve disability welfare services that everyone can feel.”
