Korean Culture and Arts Committee Successfully Concludes '2022 Geultin Camp'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The Korea Arts & Culture Education Service announced that it successfully concluded the ‘Geultin Camp’ held from the 21st to the 23rd in Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do. Geultin is a youth literary platform operated by the Arts Council since 2005, hosting one camp annually.
This year’s camp was organized by senior writers and mentors. Senior Geultin writers such as poet Kim Seonho, novelist Yang Seonhyeong, playwright Lee Hongdo, and literary critic Han Seol led the ‘Geultiner Homecoming Day.’ Geultin mentors including novelist Moon Bu-il, novelist Song Jihyun, critic Oh Eun-kyo, and poet Choi Baekgyu conducted various participatory and experiential programs such as creative workshops and visits to the Taebaek Mountain Range Literature Museum and the Jeollanam-do Provincial Museum of Art.
An official from the Arts Council said, “We hope that the Geultin Camp, held offline for the first time in three years, provided a literary experience where participants could understand, enjoy, and share literature in diverse ways. We also hope that through Geultin, literary youth will continue to actively engage in mutual exchange activities.”
