KT Alpha Supplies 1,400 Movies to Apple TV App
Continued Promotion of Partnerships Targeting Global OTT Platforms

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT Alpha, a digital content specialized investment and distribution company, announced on the 23rd that it will supply about 1,400 movies to the Apple TV application (app).
Customers can easily access popular video apps through the Apple TV app and also use the 'Apple TV Plus(+)' service.
The Apple TV app is installed not only on Apple devices but also on some Samsung and LG smart TVs, console platforms such as PlayStation, and some SK Broadband set-top boxes.
Through a contract with Apple, KT Alpha is supplying content to the global online video service (OTT) market. Movies such as "Your Wedding," "The Host," "Mission: Possible," "My Country," and "Whispering Corridors 6: The Hometown" can be viewed not only in Korea but also overseas.

Kim Hyung-man, head of KT Alpha's Content Media Business Division, said, "We plan to continue pursuing partnerships with global OTTs," adding, "In addition to Korean commercial films, we will strengthen partnerships with affiliated platforms by expanding the acquisition of special content and exclusive content supply."
