[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lim Young-ho, Vice President of Hana Bank, has been selected as the next CEO of Hana Life Insurance.
On the 21st, Hana Financial Group held the Group Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee (Group Recommendation Committee) and the Affiliate Management Committee to finalize the recommendation of CEO candidates for six affiliates: Hana Life Insurance, Hana Alternative Investment Asset Management, Hana F&I, Hana Financial TI, Hana Ventures, and Fink.
Lim Young-ho, recommended as the CEO of Hana Life Insurance, was born in 1964 and graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in Trade. He joined Hana Bank in 1992 and has served as Head of Gangnam Central Sales Headquarters, Head of the China Limited Corporation, and Vice President of the Retail Support Group. The Group Recommendation Committee stated that Lim is "judged to be the right person to seek new changes and leaps for Hana Life Insurance by presenting a progressive vision based on his understanding of retail and corporate finance operations as well as his global work experience."
Lee Hu-seung, Vice President of Hana Financial Group, was recommended as CEO of Hana Alternative Investment Asset Management. Born in 1966, Lee graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in French from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and has served as Head of Group Audit, Head of Management Planning Group at Hana Bank, and CFO of Hana Financial Group. An Seon-jong, Vice President of Hana Bank, was recommended as CEO of Hana Ventures. Born in 1968, An graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in Business Administration and has held positions such as Head of Group Strategy at Hana Financial Group, Head of Business Innovation Group at Hana Bank, and Head of Sales Support Group at Hana Bank.

Cho Hyun-jun, Head of Cell at Hana Bank, was recommended as CEO of Fink. Born in 1964, Cho graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Economics and has served as Head of Foreign Exchange Operations Team, Head of Future Finance Business Headquarters Team, and Head of Future Finance Business Department Cell at Hana Bank. Kang Dong-hoon, CEO of Hana F&I, and Park Geun-young, CEO of Hana Financial TI, were recommended for reappointment based on their favorable management performance. The CEO candidates for Hana Financial Group’s affiliates will be finalized through the respective boards of directors and shareholders' meetings to be held later.
