Hanwha Hotels & Resorts to Entrust Management of Mohegan Inspire Hotel
Management Agreement for Three 5-Star Buildings
Hanwha Hotels & Resorts announced on the 20th that it has signed a hotel consignment operation agreement with Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort (Mohegan Inspire).
Mohegan Inspire is a company that develops and operates premium global integrated resorts. It has presented plans to create the largest integrated resort in Northeast Asia on Yeongjong Island, Incheon, through a total of four expansion phases by 2031. As the first phase, three 5-star hotels with 1,275 rooms, a 15,000-seat arena, a convention center, a foreigner-only casino, a water park, and commercial facilities will be established.
Through this agreement, Hanwha Hotels & Resorts will take charge of the consignment operation of three 5-star hotel buildings, which are one of the core facilities of Inspire Resort. The company stated that it plans to provide differentiated customized services to customers based on its operational know-how from managing 10 directly operated resorts and 5-star Plaza hotels in Korea.

Kim Hyung-jo, CEO of Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, said, "We expect a new premium integrated resort to be born from the combination of our customer service experience and Mohegan Inspire’s development capabilities," adding, "We will do our best in operations to establish it as a tourist complex that gains attention not only domestically but also globally."
