On the 20th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that ㈜Isan Steel donated 5 million won, Hanseong Motors Suncheon Showroom donated 3 million won, and the Damyang-gun Village Chiefs Association donated 2 million won in scholarships for local talents.
Located in Damyang-eup, ㈜Isan Steel (CEO Kim Yangrok) is a small and medium-sized enterprise specializing in the sale and rental of construction materials. It is an excellent local company leading the development of the regional economy and practicing sharing through deliveries to major medium and large construction sites nationwide.
Hanseong Motors Suncheon Showroom is an organization that has continued warm sharing by participating in various social contribution activities and donating to students in the Jeolla region and neighbors in need. Furthermore, the Damyang-gun Village Chiefs Association (Chairman Lee Yonggil), consisting of 318 village chiefs, has donated a total of about 25 million won in scholarships since 2009 as a meaningful act together with the local community. This year as well, they gathered the intentions of the village chiefs to prepare the funds for the development of Damyang-gun.
