BPA Re-announces Selection of Lease Operator for Busan New Port Smart Joint Logistics Center
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) announced that the public notice for the selection of the lease operator for the Busan New Port Smart Joint Logistics Center, which was open for 60 days from October 21, has been canceled due to no bids and will be re-announced.
There are no changes to the announcement conditions, and the re-announcement application period is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on January 3.
After the re-announcement, if there is only one bidder, BPA will form an external evaluation committee according to the National Contract Act to conduct a selection evaluation on January 5 for the bidding company and select and announce the preferred negotiation candidate.

A BPA official stated, “To ensure the timely promotion of the Busan New Port Smart Joint Logistics Center project, we will select a lease operator and actively proceed with related tasks so that the logistics center design and other schedules can be carried out as planned.”
