On the 20th, Nongshim announced that it delivered 4,300 boxes of Love Shin Ramyun to local communities through its headquarters and six factories nationwide this year. Love Shin Ramyun is an annual year-end activity where Nongshim shares warmth with underprivileged neighbors in local communities. It began in 2008 and has continued for 15 years to date. So far, Nongshim has shared a total of 61,000 boxes of ramen.
The Love Shin Ramyun delivered by Nongshim was prepared with the Happy Fund voluntarily raised by employees and the company’s contributions. Nongshim collects greater love and delivers it to neighbors through a "matching grant" method, where the company donates an amount equal to the employees’ fundraising. Additionally, by the end of this month, Nongshim plans to donate ramen and snacks worth 500 million won to food banks nationwide to share warmth with vulnerable groups across the country.
