The Korea e-Marketing Fair is the only online expo in Korea, initiated by Gmarket as the first e-commerce company to promote sales activation for small and medium-sized enterprises, village enterprises, and producers of agricultural, livestock, and marine products. This year, three government ministries?Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries?and two organizations?the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center and Seoul Business Agency?sponsored the event, selecting and awarding 12 outstanding sales case companies across a total of eight categories.
The event was conducted in a sales competition format from October 10 to 31. A total of 869 companies participated, showcasing 1,680 products, marking the largest scale ever in both the number of participating companies and exhibited products. The average sales of the 12 award-winning teams that received the best response increased more than sevenfold (628%) compared to the same period last year.
The company that achieved the highest transaction growth rate was Agricultural Corporation Pureutpureut, which sold domestically produced mackerel and achieved a growth rate 669 times higher than the same period last year. Cheonsa Food sold 2kg soy sauce marinated shrimp and recorded a 54-fold transaction growth rate, while Innovine Korea sold masks through Smile Delivery for the first time this year, achieving a fourfold growth compared to last year. Among the award-winning companies, the only one selling beauty items, McQueen Korea, sold collagen multi balm and saw its transaction amount increase fivefold.
