The Board of Audit and Inspection, currently auditing the operation and management of the national statistics system, is investigating suspicions of intentional distortion in housing price statistics compiled during the Moon Jae-in administration. It is known that many Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport employees responsible for housing price statistics at the time are included in the audit.
