Galleria Department Store Delivers Christmas Gifts to Children with Incurable Diseases

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Galleria Department Store announced on the 18th that it will deliver Christmas presents to 270 children suffering from severe rare and intractable diseases to celebrate the year-end.
This activity is a Christmas social contribution campaign that Galleria has been conducting for 11 years since 2012 in partnership with Make-A-Wish Korea. It is an initiative that provides Christmas gifts and special memories every year to children hospitalized or undergoing treatment at major hospitals nationwide, with a total of 3,193 children benefiting to date.
This year, 270 children from Seoul National University Children's Hospital Kkumteul Kkotssi (Pediatric Palliative Care Team), Ajou University Children's Ward in Suwon, and Chungnam National University Children's Ward in Daejeon will receive gifts from Santa Claus delivered by Galleria on their behalf.

The gift kits consist of a mini tree and a carousel music box to evoke the Christmas atmosphere, along with tree-patterned socks and a paint set. Galleria employees personally wrapped the Christmas presents for the children, adding meaning to the act of sharing.
