KCC Glass Joins Sarangui Yeolmae's 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] KCC Glass donated 300 million KRW in love-sharing funds to the Community Chest of Korea and participated in the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign.'
On the 13th, KCC Glass held a love-sharing fund donation ceremony at the Community Chest of Korea building in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Dokgo Jin, Executive Director of KCC Glass, Kim Kyung-hee, Head of the Social Contribution Headquarters of the Community Chest of Korea, and other related personnel.
The donated funds were divided and contributed to regions where KCC Glass's major business sites are located, such as Yeoju in Gyeonggi Province and Asan in Chungnam Province, and will be used for living and medical expenses for low-income families facing economic difficulties in each region. In particular, KCC Glass increased the number of participating business sites for this year's donation from four to six, including the headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, to provide more thorough support to local communities.

A KCC Glass official said, "As the lives of marginalized groups have become very difficult due to the recent economic downturn, we hope this donation will help neighbors in difficult circumstances even a little," adding, "KCC Glass will continue efforts to fulfill corporate social responsibility through various 'business-linked' social contribution activities, not only by donating funds but also by promoting improvements in the living environments of low-income households through its interior specialty brand, ‘HomeCC Interior.’"
