[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] KT announced on the 8th that it has developed an ‘AI Concierge’ service for hotels in collaboration with DeepBrain AI and applied it to the Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotel & Residence in Jung-gu, Seoul.


The AI Concierge service was developed through the ‘2022 K-CHAMP Collaboration’ project operated by KT and the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation. KT and the AI technology startup DeepBrain AI jointly cooperated on this project.


This service was developed based on KT’s AI voice recognition platform Giga Genie Inside and DeepBrain AI’s video synthesis solution AI Human technology. The AI hotel staff on the main service screen responds in real-time when customers ask questions by voice.


Reflecting the characteristics of hotel lobbies with heavy foot traffic and noisy surroundings, KT’s latest AISE (AI Speech Enhancement) technology was also applied. KT plans to continuously improve the service by applying deep learning technology in the future.
