Woori Financial Group announced on the 6th that it attended the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' event hosted by the Community Chest of Korea on the 5th and delivered a donation of 10 billion KRW. This donation will be used for various social contribution projects such as nurturing future generations, disaster recovery, supporting small business owners, and environmental preservation to assist vulnerable groups in blind spots.
This year, the group increased the donation amount by 3 billion KRW compared to last year, with affiliates such as Woori Bank, Woori Card, and Woori Financial Capital participating at the group level. As a result, Woori Financial Group has been a sharing partner of the Community Chest of Korea since 2009, achieving a cumulative donation of 34 billion KRW.
