The day before, Kim Jungmin, the warrant judge in charge at the Seoul Central District Court who conducted Seo's pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant review), issued the arrest warrant on the day, stating, "Considering the seriousness of the crime, the suspect's position, and relationships with related parties, there is a concern of evidence tampering," and approved the arrest warrant requested by the prosecution.
