Kmong Hosts the 10th Kmong Awards, a Freelancer Ceremony
12 Teams Including 12 Best Award Winners Selected This Year
Comprehensive Evaluation Based on Transaction Volume, Customer Satisfaction, and Response Rate
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Kmong (CEO Park Hyun-ho) announced on the 1st that it will hold the "10th Kmong Awards." Founded in 2012, Kmong has been holding an awards ceremony every year since 2013 to recognize and support the contributions of freelancers. Through this event, which marks its 10th anniversary this year, a total of over 200 Kmong active freelancers (experts) have been awarded.
This year, 10 teams received the Rookie Award, 12 teams the Excellence Award, and 10 teams the Special Award. The average sales of this year's Excellence Award winners increased by more than 300 million KRW compared to last year, and when compared to the pre-COVID period, the average sales nearly tripled.

Kmong will also hold an offline workshop on the 15th of this month, inviting about 60 Kmong experts, including the Kmong Awards winners. Since March this year, Kmong has been operating the Freelancer Club, a community that supports freelancers' growth and education, conducting monthly lectures on various topics such as marketing, taxation, legal affairs, development, and online operations. In addition, Kmong has designated June 1st every year as Freelancer Day and is conducting mid- to long-term campaigns and promotions to encourage freelancers and improve the market environment.
