SK Stoa Introduces Paper Polybags... "Practicing ESG Management"
Saving Vinyl Fabric and Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions Effectively
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] SK Stoa announced on the 1st that it will be the first in the TV shopping industry to introduce paper polybags. These are packaging materials used for clothing products, which have so far used vinyl polybags.
Paper polybags have the advantage of emitting fewer harmful substances compared to traditional vinyl polybags. Assuming that 500,000 vinyl polybags are replaced annually with paper polybags, about 7 tons of vinyl fabric can be saved. This is expected to result in a greenhouse gas reduction effect equivalent to several tens of tons.
