LG Uplus Hosts 'Idleulnara' Subscription Event... Hotel Stay Vouchers Giveaway

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] LG Uplus announced on the 30th that it will hold a subscription event for the kids online video service (OTT) ‘Idleulnara’ until December 18.
Idleulnara is a kids-only OTT launched by LG Uplus on the 10th as part of the U+3.0 ‘4 Major Platforms’ strategy, offering ▲a total of 50,000 contents including about 10,000 interactive contents ▲a personalized content recommendation service based on 1,200 detailed metadata ▲and a growth report for your child based on one month of usage history.
To celebrate the launch of the Idleulnara OTT, LG Uplus is holding an event until December 18, where customers who apply for a subscription will be entered into a draw to win a deluxe suite accommodation voucher at Paradise City located in Yeongjongdo, Incheon (10 winners).
Customers can download the app from app markets such as Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and One Store, subscribe to the service, and enter the event on the Idleulnara homepage event page. Winners will be announced on December 23.
New subscribers to Idleulnara can use the service free for the first month, and if they subscribe by the end of January 2023, they can continue to use the service at a 60% discounted rate of 9,900 KRW per month (VAT included) until cancellation.
With the OTT launch, many customers have shown interest in Idleulnara. At the country’s largest early childhood education exhibition, the ‘50th Seoul International Early Childhood Education & Kids Fair,’ the Idleulnara booth, which was the largest among exhibiting companies, was visited by a total of about 17,000 people over four days who experienced Idleulnara.
LG Uplus selected actor Lee Je-hoon as the advertising model for Idleulnara and will launch a new TV commercial starting December 3. Lee Je-hoon, who is trusted by the public for his upright image, will actively promote the Idleulnara OTT by introducing new interactive contents such as ‘Touchbook’ that responds to touch, ‘3D Augmented Reality (AR) Stereoscopic Book,’ ‘Coding’ learned through storybooks, and ‘Disney Learning+’ for learning English through Disney cartoons.

An LG Uplus official said, “Idleulnara is a kids-only OTT launched to catch both fun and learning,” and added, “We will continue to improve contents and services to increase customer satisfaction for those using Idleulnara.”
