Goseong-gun Packs 8,000 Kimchi Cabbages for Neighborly Love, Delivered to Low-Income Households
Goseong County in Gyeongnam and the Goseong County Community Security Council held the "16th Neighborly Love Kimchi Sharing Festival."

This event was hosted and organized by the Goseong-gun Community Security Council, with over 1,000 participants from about 100 institutions and organizations joining in neighborly sharing over the four days.
Volunteers from all walks of life, including students, soldiers, companies, local volunteer groups, and township community security councils, who have a passionate love for their neighbors, lent their hands for warm companionship despite the cold and harsh weather.
County Governor Lee Sang-geun said, "Thanks to the 1,000 volunteers who participated in this kimchi sharing festival, all the residents of Goseong-gun will have a happy and warm winter," and added, "I express my respect for the volunteers' passionate dedication and warm companionship in loving their neighbors despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19."

Chairperson Park Young-sook said, "I was happy to feel again on-site the passionate hearts of Goseong-gun volunteers for neighborly love as the kimchi sharing festival, which had been held non-face-to-face due to COVID-19, was held face-to-face again," and added, "I am grateful that the volunteers participated with one heart."
