On the 29th, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul decided not to prosecute Yoo regarding the accusations of violating the Public Official Election Act and the Resident Registration Act.
According to the police, they made the decision not to prosecute because they could not find evidence that Yoo had falsely reported his address in Gyeonggi-do.

Lawyer Kang Shin-up, former president of the fan club Geonhee Sarang for First Lady Kim Geon-hee, filed a complaint against Yoo on the 7th of this month with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency for violations of the Public Official Election Act and the Resident Registration Act.
