Chonnam National University Library Selected as an Excellent Institution for the 'Chaeknarae Service'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chonnam National University has been selected as an excellent institution for book delivery services.
The Chonnam National University Library received the Excellent Institution Award for the Chaeknarae Service at the '2022 Library Disability Service Merit Awards Ceremony' hosted by the National Library for the Disabled (Director Won Jongpil) on the 16th.
The 'Chaeknarae Service' is a service that delivers library materials free of charge to the homes of disabled individuals who have difficulty visiting the library, using Korea Post parcel delivery. The National Library for the Disabled has been operating this service since March 2016.
This year, excellent institutions were selected from among 1,075 libraries nationwide operating the Chaeknarae Service, based on one year of performance evaluations, with a total of 12 institutions chosen according to service performance rankings.
