The campaign, organized by the Sacheon YWCA Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence Integrated Counseling Center, was prepared to raise awareness and alert citizens to the dangers of violence against women.
On this day, over 40 participants including the Sacheon City Women and Family Division, Dongseo Geumdong Administrative Welfare Center, Sacheon Fire Station, Sacheon City Women's Association Council, Women-Friendly City Citizen Participation Group, and Sacheon City With You Guardians conducted a street campaign.
In particular, following a slogan chorus to eradicate violence against women such as domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, and digital sex crimes, leaflets and promotional items were distributed to encourage voluntary interest and participation from citizens.

A city official stated, “We plan to establish close information sharing and cooperation systems with related organizations and groups to prevent violence against women and do our best to protect women in order to create a safe society free from violence against women.”
