Chosun University Successfully Completes 'Visiting Kindergarten AI·SW Coding Special Lecture'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group recently announced on the 24th that it successfully completed the '2022 Visiting Kindergarten AI·SW Robot Coding Special Lecture' conducted for young children at Duam Town Kindergarten, Chodae Daycare Center, and others.
Professor Cho Youngjoo of the SW-Centered University Project Group, along with faculty members of the project group and student instructors from Chosun University's Department of Computer Engineering including Lee Hyunjun, Kim Seongwook, Seo Kyunghyun, Lee Byunghun, Kim Yongsoo, Lee Sunghyun, and Ha Taejun, conducted the 'Visiting Kindergarten AI·SW Robot Coding Special Lecture.'
This program is an essential curriculum for the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, focusing on AI·SW education. It was designed to help kindergarten students improve their understanding of coding, creativity, cooperation and consideration, and concentration by providing robot coding education using various robots targeted at young children.
Professor Cho Youngjoo said, “As AI·SW coding education is gaining worldwide attention and has become an essential coding education trend in current education, we conducted the 2022 kindergarten special lectures to provide AI·SW experiential education and future city-building education using robots that can nurture imagination and creativity for our kindergarten students who will live in the future.”

I hope this education served as a time to stimulate kindergarten students' imagination, creativity, consideration, and curiosity. We will continue to develop and conduct educational programs so that AI·SW education can reach more kindergarten students and expand into kindergarten settings.”
