KB Kookmin Bank Launches Emergency Loan for Tmap Substitute Drivers
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] KB Kookmin Bank launched the 'KB Logi Emergency Loan' for TMAP platform workers on the 24th.
The KB Logi Emergency Loan is a non-face-to-face overdraft loan product targeting platform workers of Tmap Mobility.
The loan interest rate is a minimum of 7.63% as of the launch date (MOR 12-month variable rate, loan period 1 year, based on credit rating grade 3, after applying preferential interest rates), and the loan limit is up to 3 million KRW.
Additionally, the top 15% of proxy drivers based on recent work performance are selected to receive a 2% annual interest rate support for 6 months, providing benefits for proxy driver subscribers with excellent work records.
Loan applications can be made through the LogiSoft app, a proxy driving brokerage platform, or the LogiSoft proxy driver website.
KB Kookmin Bank plans to launch various products for platform workers starting with this emergency loan.
They are preparing a package including a dedicated payroll account that organizes the irregular salaries of platform workers, a check card containing only necessary benefits, Care insurance that ensures safety, and a Liv Mobile exclusive plan offering affordable communication fees. Through this, they plan to support the independence of platform workers and further strengthen financial support.
