Member Company 'Versys' Wins CES Best Innovation Award... Total of 16 Member Companies Receive 21 Innovation Awards
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 23rd that 16 member companies nurtured through the group's startup incubation platform, 'Shinhan Square Bridge,' received the 'CES 2023 Innovation Award' at the world's largest IT and electronics exhibition, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023.
CES is the world's largest IT and electronics exhibition held every January in Las Vegas, USA, organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). Before the CES exhibition event, the CTA selects products and services that receive the highest evaluations in each technology field based on technology, design, and innovation, awarding them the CES Innovation Awards.
'Versys,' a member company of Shinhan Square Bridge, won the 'Best of Innovation' award in the streaming category at CES 2023. Additionally, a total of 16 Shinhan Square Bridge member companies received 21 CES Innovation Awards, including 6 companies such as 'NewLive' in the digital health category, 3 companies such as 'Algocare' in the home appliances category, 2 companies such as 'Piquant' in the sustainability and eco-friendly category, and 4 companies such as 'AI4Pet' in the software mobile app category.
A Shinhan Financial Group official said, "This CES Innovation Award is a case where the innovative technologies and capabilities of startups that have grown together with Shinhan Square Bridge were recognized globally," adding, "We will continue to do our best to support Korean startups so that they can pursue continuous innovation."
