Gwangju University LINC3.0 Project Group Accelerates Establishment of Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation System
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University’s 3rd Phase Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Leading University Development Project Group (LINC 3.0) is establishing an industry-academia-research cooperation system and striving to nurture talent in new industrial technology fields.
According to Gwangju University on the 21st, the LINC 3.0 project group recently signed consecutive business agreements with Gwangju Design Promotion Agency and Gwangju Technopark to establish and activate a sharing and collaboration system.
The Gwangju University LINC 3.0 project group aims to nurture customized talent in the design and metaverse fields with the Gwangju Design Promotion Agency by collaborating on ▲planning and operating joint industry-academia-research programs ▲cooperative projects for talent development ▲cooperative projects to strengthen each institution’s competitiveness ▲talent development for community contribution ▲matters related to social contribution programs.
Additionally, they signed a business agreement with Gwangju Technopark for sharing and collaboration in the energy industry and green mobility sectors and will promote various projects. In particular, both institutions plan to collaborate by planning and operating joint industry-academia-research programs through the LINC 3.0 project, aiming for future talent development and community contribution.
Prior to this, the Gwangju University LINC 3.0 project group has also been accelerating the establishment of a university collaboration network to produce ICC achievements in specialized fields.
In August, they signed a business agreement with seven universities including Gyeongnam National University and Kookmin University to share and collaborate in the big data and AI fields of the LINC 3.0 project. They also cooperate with five universities including Dongmyung University and four companies to produce achievements in video, design, cultural tourism ICC, and RCC.
Along with this, they provide a platform for sharing and collaboration with local universities and operate linked programs. In September, they signed an agreement with Chosun University to develop programs for nurturing local talent in the biohealthcare field. On the 15th, they joined hands with Dongshin University to foster natural product research personnel through the natural product anti-aging functional material technology ICC and biohealthcare.
