In the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, Uruguay and Portugal, who will face the 'Bentoho', met for the first time in Doha to coordinate their efforts.
Uruguay, led by coach Diego Alonso, adjusted their condition on the afternoon of the 19th (local time) at the Al Ersal training ground. They arrived in Doha in the morning and worked hard from the first day. Twenty-five players participated in the training, except goalkeeper Sebastian Sosa (Independiente), who was mourning his mother. Portugal, who arrived in Doha the night before, held their first training session in the afternoon at Al Shahaniya SC training ground on the outskirts of Doha. Silva (Leipzig) focused on recovery indoors.
