Hanacard×Hanatour, Strategic Business Agreement... Strengthening Overseas Travel Cooperation
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hana Card announced on the 18th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) for strategic collaboration in various fields including products and services related to overseas travel with Hanatour at the Hana Card headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. Key officials from both companies, including Kwon Gil-joo, CEO of Hana Card, and Song Mi-sun, CEO of Hanatour, attended the signing ceremony.
Through this agreement, Hana Card and Hanatour explained that they expect it to be an opportunity for cooperation in product, service, and marketing sectors of both companies, as well as joint discovery of new businesses. Hana Card has been continuously striving to become the number one card for overseas use. In July, it launched the 'Travelog Check Card' as an innovative financial service, which has been issued to 70,000 customers so far. In addition, it has already released the 'VIVA Card,' popular among more than 1.7 million customers in the market.
Hana Card plans to combine its own capabilities with Hanatour's diverse travel products and high-quality customer contact services through this agreement. Furthermore, by utilizing the data and platform capabilities of both companies, they will actively cooperate in various fields such as expanding data combination businesses that merge financial and payment information with travel information, joint marketing for VIP customers, and new business ventures.
They will also hold events to commemorate this business partnership. Starting with a jointly conducted airline ticket discount promotion, they plan to offer various events ranging from travel preparation stages to local usage benefits.
