Jeonggwan-eup led the project, with members of the local social security council and honorary social welfare officers participating as a human safety net.
Quarterly, health food packages, health supplies, health drinks, and customized health information leaflets have been delivered to health-vulnerable groups, while checking on their well-being and forming emotional bonds with them.
An honorary social welfare officer who participated in the event said, "I felt great fulfillment seeing the joy of our marginalized neighbors as we delivered health food packages and drinks."
Jeonggwan-eup Mayor Kim Jong-cheon said, "I believe that small interest and support can come together to deliver great strength. The hearts of all the council members and honorary social welfare officers who participated have made Jeonggwan warmer."
