Jeju Ora 119 Center and Volunteer Fire Brigade Launch Wildfire Prevention Campaign
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station Ora 119 Center (Center Chief Jang Haengsun) and Ora South and Women's Volunteer Fire Brigades (Captains Baek Seongcheol and Hong Yeongsim) announced on the 16th that they conducted a wildfire prevention campaign and natural cleanup activities such as collecting trash around hiking trails in the Minoreum area on the 12th.
This campaign was carried out to protect valuable forest resources from wildfires and to prevent damage to lives and property.
The main activities included focused fire prevention publicity targeting hikers, guidance on prohibiting various cooking and burning activities, and distribution of promotional materials.
